Zusammenfassung

Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies, Workers Compensation Division, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Western Pennsylvania and Kentucky. You will evaluate production patterns and work with teams to identify opportunities for profitable growth and improved customer experience.

The role requires building partnerships with agents, managing agency performance, and coordinating with Underwriting and IT to streamline processes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in the workers compensation insurance industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn proprietary software applications.

• Creates and executes territory plans demonstrating understanding of territory with effective travel plans.
• Position BHHC as the market of choice with agents and target markets; identify new agency appointments and opportunities for growth.
• Monitor agency growth and profitability; develop profit improvement and growth plans.
• Manage agency partnerships to achieve premium standards and growth goals; handle appointments/terminations and renewal strategies.
• Conduct in-person agency visits, participate in meetings and stewardship activities; coordinate with underwriting, client services and loss control teams.
