Job summary

The Standard in Northern California is seeking a Regional Client Manager on the Employee Benefits team to deliver outstanding service to Employer Groups of 100 to 499 lives. You’ll manage submissions, renewals, amendments, and identify opportunities to expand coverage while building strong relationships with clients and brokers.

Travel is required; a Life and Disability license for the resident state is expected within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; Bachelors degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of progressive work experience in employee benefits, client management, or sales support in the employee benefits insurance industry.
• Licensed for Life and Disability insurance in resident state within assigned hub; license must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for Client Management issues for your assigned book of business.
• Manage new case submissions, renewal activity, and amendments.
• Identify and promote the sale of additional lines of coverage or plan improvements.
• Participate in in-person client and broker meetings.
• Promote new product offerings and enhanced product features.
• Recommend plan changes as appropriate.
• Facilitate enrollment and re-enrollment processes; attend enrollment meetings or benefit fairs as needed.
