Job summary

Amwins Connect in California is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to develop and grow retail broker relationships across the state.

You will advise brokers on tailored employee benefit solutions, manage a broker portfolio, and drive revenue growth through consultative selling and territory planning. This role requires travel for conferences and training, with a remote work option within California.

Qualifications

• Experience selling group medical or ancillary insurance.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• CRM experience with Salesforce and strong pipeline management.
• Current Life & Health insurance license.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with strong time management.
• Knowledge of ACA and local insurance markets.
• Willingness to travel for conferences/trainings.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain broker relationships to grow revenue.
• Develop tailored employee benefits solutions for brokers and clients.
• Leverage Salesforce and other tools to drive sales activities.
• Create territory plans and set targets with leadership.
• Represent Amwins Connect at meetings and industry events.
• Collaborate with carriers to provide underwriting information.
