Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. is seeking an Account Representative to provide world-class customer care and regional support.

You will process orders, quotes, and RMA's, negotiate pricing, and coordinate customer visits while maintaining customer specifications. The role requires 3+ years in customer service, an associate degree (bachelor's preferred), strong computer skills, and the ability to travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience.
• Associate degree or related business experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong computer skills.
• Travel up to 15% of the time.
• Ability to learn concepts and technical details of products.
• Excellent writing, proofreading, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Experience with ERP or CRM tools.
• Experience in a technical sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing world-class customer care to both internal and external customers.
• Engaging in regional customer support activities, including accurate entry of orders & quotes, RMA's, pricing negotiation, contract negotiation, customer visit support, and creation/maintenance of customer unique specifications.
• Communicating with customers and global account managers on deliverables and any additional customer service issues independently.
• Using judgment skills, prior experience, and company policies and procedures to resolve standard and in-region problems.
• Assist the management with reporting and monitoring of regional performance.
• Own customer feedback tracking and driving to customer satisfaction.
• Order office supplies, coordinate internal and customer meetings, and provide administrative/office support as needed.
