Stanley Black & Decker Inc. is seeking an Account Manager to drive sales and profitability in Alabama from a field-based role near Montgomery or Birmingham. You will manage regional activities, build top accounts, and execute strategic plans leveraging marketing programs and field resources.

You will collaborate with dealers, use Salesforce and BW for insights, and manage budgets to support growth. A 4-year degree and 3 years of sales experience in industrial products are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree preferred.
• 3 years of sales experience in industrial products or related complex commercial product sales.
• Understanding of IT Business systems (BW, Salesforce.com, Tool Commerce) and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel; focus in Alabama and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead all elements of the region.
• Drive sales growth, profitability, listings, and share in the region.
• Develop and execute strategic plans leveraging marketing programs, field resources, training, and events.
• Establish relationships with top accounts and call on dealers in the assigned area.
• Drive sell-through across Stanley Black & Decker brands.
• Support dealers with product knowledge, end-user work, and merchandising.
• Use Salesforce and BW to drive efficiencies.
• Manage budgets (T&E, Funds, Demos) to improve profitability.
