Job summary

Parts Town LLC is seeking an Inside Service Technician to provide technical support for refrigeration and related equipment from our Fort Wayne location. You will diagnose issues over the phone or email, consult manuals and diagrams, and document calls for future reference.

You will join a collaborative Technical Service team, withCFESA certification opportunities and a competitive hourly wage. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a fast, accurate support approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in electric/gas appliance repair, refrigeration, or HVAC (or relevant training).
• Strong communication skills and ability to document cases clearly.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and explain equipment information clearly.
• Offer technical support to end users and field technicians via phone or email (30+ cases/day).
• Use manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts lists to diagnose issues.
• Log all call details in the company database for future inquiries.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to document failure rates and suggest changes.
