Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-Arkansa is seeking a Reentry Program Specialist to assist justice-involved and veteran clients. You will manage casework, deliver life skills training, and coordinate a 16-week paid transition program to help participants gain employment.

The role emphasizes intake, planning, referrals, and collaboration with community partners to support successful reintegration and workforce readiness.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of a specialized field; equivalent of four years in high school plus two years of college plus 3 years related experience.
• Strong written communication and report-writing abilities; capacity to present information clearly.
• Valid driver’s license with cleared background.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive case management to support social, vocational and life goals.
• Design and facilitate education and training programs for pre- and post-transition.
• Administer intake, assess needs, and develop Individual Service Plans.
• Provide information and referrals while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Build relationships with community service providers and partners.
• Maintain relationships with families, funders, and internal/external contacts.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and follow accreditation requirements.
• Coordinate discharge planning and transfers to community programs.
• Lead or support staff trainings and mentor program participants.
• Complete daily/weekly progress notes and required documentation.
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support for reintegration.
