Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Arkansas, Inc. is seeking a Reentry Program Specialist in Fort Smith, AR. The role focuses on assisting individuals with disadvantages, including justice-involved and veteran populations, to achieve self-sufficiency through the 16-week paid reentry program (TEO).

The specialist will provide intensive case management, facilitate curriculum, conduct one-on-one meetings, and support participants toward gainful employment with ongoing wraparound services and referrals.

Qualifications

• Experience in public service or social services (minimum 3+ years).
• Knowledge of criminal justice system or experience with ex-prisoners or addiction and recovery is valued.
• Knowledge of veteran support services or experience working with veterans is beneficial.
• Ability to travel throughout the designated region as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive case management to support social, vocational and life skills goals.
• Design and facilitate educational and training programs (pre- and post-transition).
• Complete intake, needs assessment, and Individual Service Plan development.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and ethical boundaries with clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate services with community providers and support agencies.
• Prepare progress notes and program reports.
