Job summary

Goodwill SF Bay is seeking a Reentry Program Manager to lead a team delivering reentry services to clients returning to the community after incarceration or employment barriers.

The role focuses on directing intensive career coaching, assessments, and job placement/retention, with an emphasis on expanding the program through strong community and government partnerships and philanthropic support.

Qualifications

• Experience leading diverse teams and guiding enterprise-wide program excellence.
• Ability to build and manage partnerships with community orgs, government agencies, and industry leaders.
• Understanding of criminal justice systems and Fair Chance practices in relevant counties.
• Proven track record in workforce development, program growth, and evaluation.
• Strong data quality, reporting, and performance measurement skills.
• Experience with grant contracts and spend-down strategies.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and supervise a diverse team of leads and direct service staff.
• Develop best practices and tools for staff in work readiness, career advising, job development, and retention.
• Create employer engagement strategies that lead to career pathways for reentry clients.
• Grow program footprint by partnering with community orgs, agencies, and industry leaders.
• Oversee grant contracts, track progress, and contribute to reporting and spend-downs.
• Collaborate with Mission Advancement leadership to fundraise and expand programs.
• Present issues and solutions to the leadership team to maximize outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for staff development and cross-functional growth.
• Develop new programming and work with the development team on fundraising.
