Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel fleet equipment, including tractors, trailers, and lift gates. The role emphasizes diagnosing issues, documenting work in a maintenance system, and ensuring DOT-compliant service.

Applicants should have 3 years of hands-on experience, TK/Carrier Refrigeration certifications, and be willing to travel for trainings. Onsite work with a safety-focused environment is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician.
• TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certifications.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to reefer equipment repairs.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals.
• Able to furnish own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete repairs on diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates).
• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
• Receive road calls, coordinate with vendors and business partners on action plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment per safety rules and regulations.
• Document repairs and parts used in fleet software system.
