US Foods is seeking a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician to ensure a safe, reliable fleet through preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel equipment including tractors, trailers, bobtails, and lift gates.

The role requires 3 years of hands-on experience, TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certifications, and willingness to travel for trainings. Competitive night shift pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician
• TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certifications required
• Willingness to travel and attend training provided by US Foods
• Ability to read and interpret technical/online service manuals
• Must furnish own personal hand tools

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates)
• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards
• Receive road calls, assign third party vendors, and work with partners on action plans
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety rules and regulations
• Utilize fleet maintenance software to document repairs and parts used
• Mentor other maintenance shop personnel
• Possible increased responsibilities with certificates
• Other duties as assigned by manager
