Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Sales Representative - Recycling to identify leads, prospect and sell recycling services to commercial and industrial clients, driving volume into our recycling centers and supporting our environmental goals.

You will develop sales plans, build relationships, deliver presentations, and manage contracts and pricing with key decision makers while staying current on regulations and market trends to meet revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Two years of direct selling experience.
• Prior waste industry or service industry experience is desired.
• Bachelor’s Degree is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify viable leads and sell recycling services to new and existing customers to drive volume of recyclable materials into Republic Services’ recycling centers.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing action plans to support recycling goals.
• Generate and provide sales leads for other opportunities to capture additional revenue.
• Build long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients in the market.
• Deliver sales presentations to grow client base and prepare contracts including price quotes and terms.
• Maintain knowledge of services and pricing structures and offer additional services to grow revenue.
