Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a Recreation Operations Supervisor to oversee front desk operations, membership processing, and a high-quality customer experience at the Moraine Recreation Center and Civic Center. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead front desk staff and support daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service, recreation, or front desk operations.
• Demonstrated experience handling cash, balancing drawers, and following cash control procedures.
• Experience working with a diverse clientele base strongly preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable managing high-volume interactions and financial transactions.
• Must have availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.
• First Aid/CPR preferred or obtained upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and train front desk staff.
• Oversee daily front desk operations and customer service standards.
• Manage membership sales, renewals, and account management.
• Handle cash transactions, reconcile drawers, and follow cash handling procedures.
• Respond to and resolve customer concerns while maintaining high service levels.
• Conduct facility tours and assist with member onboarding.
• Maintain membership records, reports, and retention tracking.
• Support programs, events, and general facility operations.
• Perform administrative functions using the computer.
