Job summary

Qualifications

• CPR/AED & First Aid certification required (HFRC provided)
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with interruptions
• Strong interpersonal communication, decision making and conflict resolution
• Comfortable responding to emergencies and leading risk management
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Exceptional customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of MVCC HFRC, supervising staff and managing risk
• Lead shift teams of up to 10 student/part-time staff
• Mentor staff with coaching and performance feedback
• Ensure facility policies, procedures and standards are followed
• Conduct safety inspections before, during, and after shifts
• Maintain facility cleanliness in partnership with custodial staff
• Verify patron IDs and resolve access issues
• Document shifts and update central log daily
• Process memberships, locker rentals, and program registrations
• Troubleshoot RecAuto software and resolve system issues
• Handle cash with accurate revenue reconciliation
• Provide high-quality customer service and conduct tours
• Execute emergency action plans and document incidents
• Set up and manage facility rentals and events
• Coordinate with Campus Operations, Police, Athletics, Academics
• Engage with patrons and resolve complaints
• Other duties as required
