Job summary

Gfoat is seeking a Front Desk Attendant to monitor the recreation center, provide program information, and issue equipment. You will manage member check-ins, process class registrations, and collect membership and usage fees.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and cash handling skills, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends and to learn facility policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus six months customer service experience.
• Must have, or the ability to obtain a valid Texas Driver’s License within 6 months of employment.
• Current CPR certification preferred or the ability to obtain CPR certification within 6 months of employment.
• Stands for extended periods and works evenings/weekends as required.
• Ability to learn recreation policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitors activities of the recreation center and provides information about programs.
• Registers people for classes and athletic events; collects fees for memberships and use.
• Admits members and guests; checks membership proof and accepts fees.
• Maintains cleanliness of recreation areas and locker rooms; uses hourly checklists.
• Resolves participant complaints and reports injuries to supervisor; collects information for forms.
• Supervises community service volunteers.
• Available to work after hour rentals and special events as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
