Job summary

The Resident Assistant position is part of the Recovery Campus Team at Brighton Creek under the Behavioral Health Program. You will aid residents of the transitional living program, help ensure the recovery houses are safe and compliant, and report to the Recovery House Manager.

Responsibilities include coordinating with community resources, facilitating meetings, transporting clients when needed, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Washington State driver's license and insurability.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and perform housekeeping duties.
• Follow agency policies with confidentiality.
• Work independently and follow directions as needed.
• Strong organizational and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with care and maintenance of recovery house.
• Assist with acquiring, maintaining, and managing donated supplies.
• Facilitate recovery house meetings and attend weekly case staffings.
• Attend staff meetings and provide input on client services.
• Represent agency in community groups as directed.
• Provide client transportation as requested.
• Research and obtain community resources.
• Maintain records/files and documentation.
• Provide community education as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
