Job summary

BestCare Treatment Services Inc. is seeking a Residential Associate to support clients and staff at the assigned residential program, ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory standards.

The role involves intake, information gathering, and collaboration with the treatment team to provide compassionate care. Applicants must have a high school diploma, familiarity with addiction recovery and disabilities, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with the substance-abusing population and people with disabilities.
• For individuals recovering from addiction, must have maintained continuous recovery for the previous two years at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Completes initial intakes as requested by Intake Coordinator, communicating details to health staff.
• Collects client information through observation, interviews, and records review.
• Work closely with other staff as a member of a treatment team.
• Provides appropriate Client Care Interventions and communicates clients’ choices to the team.
• Maintains cleanliness of all work areas.
• Works with the treatment team to maintain a healthy treatment milieu.
• Ensures client safety by rounds and location awareness.
• Upholds Professional Responsibility and Ethics policies.
• Maintains accurate and confidential documentation in client files.
• Answers phones and completes filing.
• Transports residents to medical appointments and self-help groups.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned.
• Residential Associate II may have additional Team Lead responsibilities.
• Other related duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor or Program Manager.
