Summary
The receptionist position provides excellent customer service with routine clerical support services to ensure adequate support to professional and management staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Greets and directs visitors, and completes and issues all necessary documentation, including the creation of badges and guest lists.
- Handles telephone calls, monitors emails and mail, and processes overnight documents.
- Schedules appointments, handles catering needs, maintains calendars, and coordinates travel arrangements for the team.
- Ensures that meeting and conference rooms are reserved and that appropriate equipment is available for meetings.
- Operates office machines such as photocopiers, scanners, and voice mail systems.
- Stamps and sorts packages and mail and distributes them to appropriate parties in a timely manner to ensure proper routing.
- Maintains a tidy office area to ensure orderliness of the facility and manages supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt of supplies.
- Undertakes general clerical duties and specific projects as required.

Education And/or Experience
- A high school diploma required with 3‑5 years of administrative experience.
- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- High level of organizational ability and ability to multi‑task.
- Ability to be proactive and work independently.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Detail‑oriented with good analytical skills.
- Professional demeanor.
- Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and the ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Experience using UPS, Federal Express, or other online shipping applications.
