Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a full-time on-site Receiving Area Coordinator in Miami, FL. You will supervise the receiving area and freight elevator, ensure safety and cleanliness, and verify credentials of contractors through the office. Strong customer service and multi-language abilities are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the receiving area and freight elevator ensuring area safety, orderliness and cleanliness.
• Verifies licenses, insurances, and permits of all service providers and contractors via management office.
• Enforces parking regulations and Association rules and regulations.
• Registers all deliveries and packages (Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, registered mail).
• Reports problems to the supervisor and handles issues beyond scope of responsibility.
• Issues parking passes to approved vehicles and distributes ID passes to contractors.
• Monitors contractors and maintenance crew through logs and completes required reports.
• Requisitions materials, tools, and supplies.
• Maintains a safe work area and follows safety precautions.
• Performs other duties as required.
