Job summary

Bonhill Partners Ltd is seeking a Technical Support Analyst to investigate and resolve issues in real-time trading environments. You will perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident management across global time zones, delivering high-quality customer service and effective stakeholder communication.

Candidate should have at least 2 years in similar roles, strong Linux knowledge, and scripting experience (Bash/Python).

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Technical Support Analyst or similar role.
• Proven experience supporting real-time trading platforms and the FIX protocol.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments, including CentOS, RHEL, or other Unix/Linux distributions.
• Scripting or programming experience using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Demonstrable expertise in log analysis, troubleshooting, and configuration management.
• Foreign exchange (FX) market experience is desirable.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, proactively identifying opportunities to add value with limited supervision across global time zones.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve issues raised by customers or identified internally.
• Perform complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
• Ensure timely issue resolution, escalating where required.
• Manage incidents through to completion and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service through effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, support processes, and client relationships.
• Support a follow-the-sun operating model, maintaining clear ticket documentation and structured end-of-day handovers.
