Job summary
Clarity Recruiting’s client, a multi-bank, multi-asset trading platform for OTC, seeks an experienced Application Support Specialist. You will provide 1st/2nd line support and act as the primary technical contact for clients, handling a wide range of issues.
The role covers UNIX/Windows environments, FIX protocol, log analysis, go-live activities, and 24/7 follow-the-sun support with Jira coordination. Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in production or application support are expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, tech or STEM field.
- Strong IT fundamentals: Java, TCP/IP, OS, web tech, logs, troubleshooting.
- 3–4 years in client services or FX/trading environments.
- 3–5 years in production or application support.
- 3–4 years FX products experience (swaps, forwards, spot).
Responsibilities
- Provide 1st/2nd line support via email, phone, and channels.
- Review FIX/XML logs and troubleshoot order-related issues.
- Manage integrations with FIX, FTP/SFTP, OMS and pre-trade risk controls.
- Coordinate scheduling and resources; track issues in Jira.
- Support go-live activities and ensure customer configuration.
- Handle service desk tickets; communicate clearly in English.
- Collaborate with global teams for 24/7 follow-the-sun support.
