Job description

A prestigious company is looking for a Trade Support Linux Engineer. This role will focus on Linux front and backend trade application support. This role will work with log files, python, Perl, automation, production support for Unix/Linux.

Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr

Work arrangement: Hybrid, a couple days a week onsite

Eligibility to work: We are unable to sponsor as this is a permanent full-time role

Qualifications & Responsibilities

• Minimum B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Monitoring and alerting of critical trading system environments
• Proactive identification and resolution of production issues
• Development of tools and driving efficiency/stability improvements/automation with scripting
• Troubleshooting and resolution of complex systems issues
• Production deployments of all infrastructure components
• Off hours pager support on a rotating schedule
• Strong working knowledge of UNIX environment/Unix commands
• Database knowledge with SQL - MySQL, InfluxDB
• Strong scripting knowledge - Python/Bash
• Experience using Grafana/InfluxDB/Icinga
