Job summary

Epic is seeking an Operations Center Technician based at our Madison campus with relocation assistance provided. You will monitor real-time alerts, manage access and security systems, and oversee building operations from the Facilities Command Center to maintain business continuity across Epic’s campuses.

You should be comfortable with high‑pressure, real‑time environments and have an interest in security operations.

Qualifications

• Strong situational awareness and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work in a high‑pressure, real‑time environment.
• Experience or interest in security operations, emergency response, or a related high‑volume field.
• Openness to 2nd and 3rd shift, as well as weekend days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (relocation assistance available).
• COVID‑19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time alerts and security systems across Epic campuses.
• Manage access and security systems from the Facilities Command Center.
• Oversee building operations and respond to disruptions promptly.
• Identify and respond to issues using video feeds and system data.
• Coordinate emergency responses with internal teams and external services.
• Help restore normal operations and ensure a safe environment.
