Job summary

Epic is based just outside Madison, Wisconsin, and offers relocation assistance for this Operations Center Technician role. You will monitor real-time alerts, manage access and security systems, and oversee building operations from our Facilities Command Center, coordinating with internal teams and emergency services to restore normal operations swiftly.

You'll be part of a dynamic team that supports Epic's campuses, with opportunities to contribute to safety, continuity, and efficient response

Qualifications

Strong situational awareness and decision‑making skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Ability to work in a high‑pressure, real‑time environment.
Experience or interest in security operations, emergency response, or a related high‑volume field.
Openness to 2nd and 3rd shift, as well as weekend days.
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Relocation to the Madison, WI area (relocation assistance available).
COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

Monitor real-time alerts from Epic's Facilities Command Center.
Manage access and security systems across campus.
Oversee building operations and coordinate with internal teams and emergency services.
Identify and respond to incidents using video feeds and system data.
Coordinate emergency responses during disruptions and help restore operations quickly.
