Job summary

Epic is seeking an Operations Center Technician to help maintain business continuity by monitoring real-time alerts and managing access within Epic's global campus network. You will oversee building operations from the Facilities Command Center and coordinate with internal teams and emergency services to respond to disruptions such as outages or emergencies.

You will work on a shift-based schedule (2nd/3rd shifts) with relocation assistance to Madison, WI.

Qualifications

• Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, real-time environment.
• Experience or interest in security operations, emergency response, or a related high-volume field.
• Open to 2nd and 3rd shift, as well as weekend days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (relocation assistance available).
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time alerts and manage access and security systems from the Facilities Command Center.
• Oversee building operations and coordinate with internal teams and emergency services.
• Identify and respond to issues using video feeds and system data; coordinate emergency responses when disruptions occur.
• Support safety and continuity of operations to restore normal operations quickly and effectively.
