RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Embedded Security Software Engineer II to join Secure Product Assurance. You will design, code, test real-time embedded software for radar, sensors, and defense systems, contributing across the software lifecycle on an onsite team.

Qualifications include a Master’s in STEM, strong C/C++, Python, real-time embedded experience, and ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. This onsite role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM discipline from accredited institution; degree must be obtained by start date.
• Experience developing, and testing or debugging software using C, C++, or similar object-oriented programming language.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl or similar.
• Real time embedded software development experience.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving experience.
• Experience developing software in a team-based development environment with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on complex technical problems and collaborate to provide innovative solutions; investigate and troubleshoot issues.
• Work at all phases of the SW development lifecycle, including SW/HW integration.
• Assist in the derivation of system and software requirements, architectural modeling, and technical analysis.
• Design, code, unit test, integrate, and document real-time embedded software with emphasis on Secure Software Solutions.
• Participate in software peer reviews, code inspections, and technical decisions with multidisciplinary teams and customers.
• Support program execution to ensure work products meet technical, cost, schedule, and quality baselines.
• Follow established software development processes to maintain software product integrity.
• Work Location: Onsite at Tucson, AZ Campus.
• Eligibility to obtain a security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
