Job summary

RTX is seeking an Embedded Security Software Engineer II for Secure Product Assurance in Tucson, AZ. You will design, code, integrate, and test real-time embedded software for radar, sensor, guidance, and fire control systems.

Collaboration across teams is essential, with focus on secure software solutions and lifecycle processes. The role requires a Master’s in STEM, experience in C/C++, Python, RTOS, and strong troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in STEM required; degree must be obtained by start date.
• Experience with C/C++ or similar OO language and real-time embedded software development.
• Experience with Python or scripting languages and troubleshooting in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and document real-time embedded software with Secure Software Solution implementations.
• Perform software lifecycle activities including integration and testing across SW/HW.
• Contribute to software peer reviews, architecture analyses, and technical decision-making.
• Support program execution to meet technical, cost, schedule, and quality baselines.
• Work onsite at Tucson, AZ campus and adhere to DoD security requirements.
