RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Embedded Security Software Engineer II to join the Secure Product Assurance team. You will design, code, test real-time embedded software for radar, sensors, and DoD-grade security solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure software.

The role requires C/C++, Python, RTOS experience and the ability to work onsite at our Tucson campus. A DoD security clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM from an accredited institution.
• Experience with C/C++ and scripting languages.
• Real-time embedded software development experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Eligibility to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex technical problems and develop innovative software solutions.
• Work through the full software lifecycle including HW/SW integration.
• Assist in requirements derivation and architectural modeling.
• Design, code, test, and document real-time embedded software.
• Participate in peer reviews and technical decision-making.
• Support program execution to meet baselines.
• Follow processes to maintain software integrity.
