RTX is seeking an Embedded Security Software Engineer II for the Secure Product Assurance team at our Tucson, AZ campus. You will design, code, test and document real-time embedded software for secure radar, sensor and guidance systems, collaborating across disciplines to deliver robust solutions that meet DoD standards.

You will participate in all phases of the software lifecycle, perform troubleshooting, and contribute to security-focused software initiatives in a fast-paced, mission-driven

Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM from an accredited institution; degree by start date.
• Experience developing, testing or debugging software in C/C++ or similar OO language.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
• Real-time embedded software development experience and strong troubleshooting.
• Ability to work in a team-based development environment with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, unit test, integrate and document real-time embedded software for Secure Software Solutions.
• Work across SW lifecycle, including SW/HW integration as needed by program phase.
• Derive system requirements, model architectures and perform technical analyses.
• Participate in peer reviews, code inspections and technical decisions with diverse teams.
• Support program execution to meet technical, cost, schedule, and quality baselines.
