Orb Staging is building the runtime layer for usage-based billing, entitlement checks, and real-time analytics. The role blends infrastructure and product work to deliver a scalable system with alerts and live balance state.

You will own a product surface end to end—from customer conversations and API design through implementation—collaborating with enterprise and AI customers to translate their needs into robust primitives that other teams rely on.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of products or systems
• Ability to design APIs and data models used by other teams and customers
• Comfort with real-time analytics and low-latency requirements

Responsibilities

• Own a product surface end to end from design through API implementation and rollout
• Design and ship alerting and analytics with low latency and configurable SLAs
• Build entitlement and spend-control primitives to reflect real billing state in real time
• Shape roadmap and primitives that other teams build against
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and with enterprise/AI customers to translate pain points into features
