Orb is building a dynamic runtime layer for usage-based billing, entitlements, and real-time analytics. The role sits at the intersection of infrastructure and product, focusing on alerts, balances, and entitlement checks with live data.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of products or systems end to end.
• Ambiguity tolerance and strong ownership; ability to influence what gets built.
• Comfort designing APIs and data models that customers depend on.

Responsibilities

• Own a product surface end to end from customer conversations to API design and rollout.
• Design and ship alerting and analytics with granular, fast performance to meet latency SLAs.
• Build entitlement and spend-control primitives that reflect real billing state in real time.
• Shape the roadmap and interfaces that other teams rely on.
• Collaborate across PM, design, sales, and customer success with enterprise and AI customers.
