Qualifications

• Notary certification is not required but appreciated
• Outstanding communications, customer service, research and analysis skills preferred
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office essential
• Some college helpful; high school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–3 years of title processing or related experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Correspond with pre-processor to ensure items are fulfilled and with settlement/paralegal to verify figures
• Record transactions by entering title and loan documents into software and track progress
• Support title officers with clerical duties and data entry
• Analyze and verify documents (leases, surveys, contracts, deeds) for clear title
• Interface with examiner/underwriter to prepare title insurance policy and HUD-1 statements
