Job summary

CRH Americas Materials Inc. is seeking a Ready Mix Performance Improvement Manager to lead operational performance and lean initiatives across western United States aggregates operations.

The role champions problem-solving methodologies to drive efficiency, cost leadership and margin improvement while promoting sustainability. The incumbent will engage in capability-building activities such as needs assessments, training, and coaching of teams or individuals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operational experience in ready mix and leading teams.
• Proficiency with performance tools such as AggFlow, PEAK, PRISM, B2W, and DF3.
• Ability to influence across levels and work as both leader and contributor.
• Hands-on plant systems experience and data collection.
• Experience with site assessments and implementing tactical plans.
• Strong training, coaching, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end performance assessments at assigned sites, including diagnosis, on-site and post-visit analysis.
• Analyze and improve plant production efficiencies while maintaining product quality.
• Optimize operations to meet demand cost-effectively and maximize margins.
• Align production scheduling with demand forecast and margin targets.
• Collaborate with leadership and commercial teams to develop OpEx/value-added strategies.
• Lead change management and sustainability initiatives.
• Deliver training and coaching to enhance site leader capabilities.
• Support development of comprehensive operational budgets.
