Job summary

CRH Americas Materials is seeking a Ready Mix Performance Improvement Manager to drive lean initiatives and operational excellence across western US aggregate operations. You will lead end-to-end assessments, optimize plant performance, and coach site teams in AMAT fundamentals and tools.

The role requires 5+ years in ready mix operations, experience with performance tools (AggFlow, PEAK, PRISM, B2W, DF3), and strong collaboration with commercial peers to improve margins and safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operational experience in ready mix
• Experience with ready mix performance tools (AggFlow, PEAK, PRISM, B2W, DF3)
• Proven ability to develop relationships and lead teams
• Hands-on plant systems, quality control, automation experience
• Site assessments with implementation planning
• Training, coaching and mentoring leadership

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture across AMAT operations
• Conduct end-to-end performance assessments at sites and drive action plans
• Analyze plant production and automate opportunities while maintaining quality
• Optimize operations to meet demand while maximizing margin and safety
• Coordinate production planning with demand forecast and margin targets
• Collaborate with leadership and commercial teams on OpEx strategy
• Lead change management and sustainability initiatives at sites
• Deliver training and mentoring to site leaders and frontline staff
• Support development of operating budgets and cost reporting
