Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking an IDEA Interventionist Teacher to work with small groups of students who have notable gaps in reading and/or math, aiming to close those gaps within a single school year. The role emphasizes systematic, data-driven instruction, progress monitoring, and various stipends based on certifications and campus leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution (required)
• Experience in a K-12 classroom setting (strongly preferred)
• Licenses or Certifications: State certification preferred but not required
• Knowledge of Math and/or ELA content standards and instruction

Responsibilities

• Teach CSI instruction to small groups of 3rd-8th grade students at academic risk in reading and/or math
• Deliver district-approved research-based interventions to small groups including Kinder-2nd grade (campus assignment dependent)
• Collaborate with general education teachers to coordinate student support
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback
• Track student progress with formal and informal assessments and update gradebook weekly
