Job summary

IDEA Public Schools seeks an Interventionist Teacher to help close reading and math gaps for students in 3rd–8th grade, with opportunities for additional elementary and high school groups depending on campus. This grant-funded role emphasizes targeted, research-based instruction and regular progress monitoring.

The position may include after-school tutoring; compensation includes a base salary starting at $59,500 plus certifications/leadership stipends and potential performance-based pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• K-12 teaching experience preferred.
• State certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach CSI instruction to small groups in 3rd–8th grade for reading/math at-risk students.
• Provide district-approved intervention to Kinder–2nd grade (dependent on campus) and 9th–12th grade groups as assigned.
• Coordinate with general education teachers to support students in intervention programs.
• Implement state standards and IDEA curricula and assessments to meet ambitious goals.
• Deliver weekly lesson plans and progress monitoring for individual students.
