Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. in the US Southeast region seeks a Rare Disease Business Manager – Alpha-1 to cover Birmingham, AL; Tuscaloosa, Huntsville, Montgomery, and adjacent areas. You will lead sales to infusion centers and hospitals, educate HCPs, and develop a compliant territory plan.

The role requires a clinical sales background with a Bachelor's degree and up to ~50% travel. You will partner with marketing, accounts, and home office to drive access and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for this clinical sales role.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device sales experience.
• Willingness to travel up to ~50% and drive a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales quotas through driving new patient starts and retention in outpatient centers and hospitals.
• Educate and inform HCPs on Takeda Alpha-1 therapies and promote a compliant strategic plan.
• Build territory business plans and create tactical plans to maximize opportunity.
• Calls on prospective customers, delivers presentations, and maintains compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with home office, marketing, and national accounts teams for pull-through.
