Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited in the United States seeks a Rare Disease Business Manager for Alpha-1 to cover Birmingham, AL and surrounding areas with flexible remote work in USA-Virtual. You will drive sales through new patient starts, hospital and infusion center outreach, and patient retention on augmentation therapy.

You will educate HCPs (Pulmonology, Immunology, Respiratory Therapists, primary care) and develop a compliant national strategy, with travel up to 50% as required.

Qualifications

• Clinical sales background with a Bachelor's degree (minimum).
• 3+ years of successful selling experience in pharma, biotech, medical devices, or related fields.
• Willing to live and manage a territory from border to border with travel.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales quotas through new patient starts, outpatient infusion/hospital sales, and patient retention on Takeda augmentation therapy.
• Educate and inform healthcare professionals (Pulmonology, Allergy/Immunology, Respiratory Therapists, primary care) about Alpha-1 products.
• Build national sales and marketing strategy and territory plan to maximize opportunities.
• Present as needed, deliver product information, and ensure compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with home office, brand, and accounts teams for pull-through of product sales.
• Utilize MS applications and Takeda CRM; participate in community education events.
• Occasional nights/weekends; promote Takeda culture through relationships.
