Job summary

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a Ramp Supervisor to manage the Ground Handling Department’s operational activities and ensure safety, reliability, and quality customer service. You will lead briefs, distribute training materials, and coordinate schedules while supporting the Training Department and mentoring staff.

The role requires strong organization, conflict‑resolution skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi‑task.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with all levels of management and staff.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic airport procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct on‑job training for new hires and recurrent training for staff.
• Conduct briefings and distribute training materials to mentors.
• Create and coordinate staff schedules.
• Provide hands‑on support to Training Department and feedback to managers.
• Approve employees for release to duty after training completion.
• Coach staff and support career development.
• Implement policies and ensure compliance across ramp functions.
• Manage daily/weekly/monthly reports and optimize station operations.
• Ensure on‑time performance and quality customer service.
