Job summary

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a Ramp Supervisor in the Ground Handling Department to manage operations, mentor staff, and ensure on-time performance. The role requires strong organization, conflict resolution, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Reports to the General Manager and supports the Training Department with hands-on guidance. The position involves creating schedules, overseeing training, and coaching staff across ramp functions, with a focus on safety and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation, business, or a related field.
• Experience leading ramp teams or equivalent airline operations.
• Familiarity with QIK and Sabre systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and on-the-job training for ramp staff.
• Conduct briefings and distribute training materials to mentors.
• Create and coordinate staff schedules.
• Offer hands-on assistance to Training Department and provide feedback.
• Coach staff and manage disciplinary actions when needed.
• Supervise personnel to ensure on-time performance and quality service.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operation reports.
