Job summary

Union Pacific Railroad is seeking a Track Laborer - Regional to maintain and repair railroad tracks within your territory. You will contribute to the safe and efficient movement of trains and support UP's customer service across North America. CDL required; medical and MVR checks apply. Must meet FMCSA qualifications and pass a PAT.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL Class A or B license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to comprehend instructions and follow rules.
• English assessment required before interview.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with coworkers, supervisors, contractors and/or customers.
• Ensure safety regulations and FRA requirements are followed.
• Handle and transport track materials and equipment.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, installations on tracks.
• Maintain ballast, drive spikes, tighten track bolts.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently; other duties as assigned.
