Job summary

Union Pacific Corporation invites applications for a Track Laborer - Regional to maintain and repair railroad tracks within your designated territory. You will perform maintenance, repairs, and installations to keep trains moving safely and efficiently across North America.

The role requires a CDL, valid driver's license, strong safety discipline, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. You will travel as needed, operate track-related equipment, and comply with FRA and FMCSA

Qualifications

• Must have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) upon hire.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to read and follow safety rules, bulletins and instructions.
• Must meet FMCSA medical qualifications and complete a PAT as part of the process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, contractors and/or customers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and FRA requirements.
• Handle and transport track materials and equipment using appropriate devices.
• Maintain, repair, install and remove track components as required.
• Maintain trackbed by removing/ replacing ballast and tamping.
• Operate equipment safely to drive spikes and adjust track bolts.
