Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an X-Ray Technician to perform digital X-ray studies following provider orders. You will position patients, operate radiographic equipment, document encounters, and ensure radiation safety in a high-volume clinical setting.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT certification, BLS, and an associate's degree (ARRT-accredited) with willingness to travel to off-site locations as needed. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification and Registration required.
• State licensure preferred (required if performed in Virginia).
• BLS Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required.
• Associate's degree from ARRT-accredited institute preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely performs provider-ordered radiographic examinations with proper patient positioning.
• Documents patient encounters in the EMR and maintains equipment safety.
• Operates radiographic equipment and protects patient and staff from exposure.
• Performs related duties including supplies, tests, scheduling, and scribing as needed.
