Qualifications

• ARRT certification and Virginia state licensure required or preferred per state.
• BLS certification preferred at hire; must obtain prior to direct patient care where required.
• Associate degree from ARRT-accredited program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely performs radiographic examinations with correct patient positioning and protection.
• Sets up equipment, immobilization devices, and ensures safety during procedures.
• Documents encounters in EMR and communicates findings with care team.
• Selects technical factors to safeguard patient and equipment; maintains sterile technique.
• Travel to other facilities and flexible hours as needed; perform scribing and registration tasks as required.
