Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an X-ray Technician to perform digital radiographic studies and support patient care under provider orders. You will position patients, ensure safety, document encounters in the EMR, and assist with routine labs and clerical duties as needed.

Requires ARRT certification, BLS, and an associate degree in radiologic technology. Travel to other facilities may be required to meet patient care needs.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and registration required
• State licensure preferred
• BLS certification required or preferred upon hire
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from ARRT-accredited program preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely performs provider-ordered radiographic examinations with proper patient positioning and radiation protection
• Sets up and adjusts immobilization equipment; positions patients with safety and professionalism
• Accurately documents patient encounters within EMR
• Determines and selects electronic and technical factors to safeguard patient and equipment
• Performs travel to other facilities as needed and supports daily operational needs
