Job summary

Raytheon in Andover, MA seeks a Production Test Engineer to support testing of radar systems in a 3rd-shift, onsite environment. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, fixture interpretation, and collaboration with union technicians to ensure robust, on-time testing across the HWIC Value Stream.

The position requires a STEM degree with at least 1–2 years of integration/testing experience and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret-level security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 2 years of experience.
• 1 year of integration and/or test experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide test engineering support in a dynamic and fast-paced production environment.
• Troubleshoot complex radar and array level issues on the production floor.
• Interpret RF faults from schematics using test equipment (network analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers).
• Perform root cause analysis on systemic radar issues and feed back to feeder areas/suppliers.
• Work with union technicians daily to execute test processes.
• Coordinate with operations, quality, process/mechanical, and production control on urgent test needs.
• Review system level test data for compliance with specifications.
• Keep test stations operational by coordinating with maintenance/test teams.
• Develop/update factory test procedures as needed.
