Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a test engineer to support the 3rd shift production floor in a test engineering capacity. You will train test operators, troubleshoot test equipment and production hardware, analyze failures, and identify defect trends to prevent recurring issues on CCA assemblies.

Required is a STEM bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience, plus RF testing experience and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• 1+ year of experience with RF testing equipment.
• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting electrical and/or mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Test Operators, Quality Engineering, Process Engineering, and operations staff to support production testing.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, and defined plans to support production testing.
• Assist with troubleshooting failures on CCAs by performing data analysis and visual inspections.
• Identify trends in defects and collaborate with teams to resolve issues and prevent future defects.
• May participate in new test set builds and coordinate test equipment between internal customers.
• Maintain and improve production test procedures and contribute to process improvements.
