Job summary

Raytheon, based in Andover, MA, is seeking an experienced hardware test engineer for onsite support of RF/Analog/Digital test across missile programs. The role requires a STEM bachelor's and 5+ years of hardware testing, plus the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

You will work with Operations, Design, and Test Development to troubleshoot, analyze data, drive root-cause improvements, and ensure compliance with hardware requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of hardware testing experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Support test and troubleshooting of RF, IF, Microwave, Analog and Digital hardware for missile programs.
• Collaborate with Operations and other engineering disciplines including Product Design, Test Development and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Interpreting test requirements, developing and maintaining test procedures, and documenting test practices.
• Analyzing data to drive issues to root cause.
• Generating Change Requests (CRs) on technical issues relating to production test process.
• Developing and executing improvement projects to increase first pass yield.
• Engagement with Design and Test Development teams to solve issues impacting production.
• Ensuring hardware requirements are met and processes are followed.
• Assisting manufacturing operators in testing & troubleshooting of production hardware.
• Supporting production test on multiple functional test platforms.
• Travel as required.
