Job summary

Raytheon in Andover, MA is seeking a Test Engineer for a 3rd shift role with a 12% shift premium. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test readiness, develop Manufacturing Data Packages, and define test hardware and software improvements.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in STEM and 2+ years of Test Engineering experience, the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and at least 2 years in Test Engineering.
• DoD security clearance (Secret) or ability to obtain; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Design/Engineering, Test Equipment Engineering, and Program Offices to ensure test readiness and resolution of test issues.
• Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs), including test procedures, ensuring all test instructions align with product specifications.
• Partner with Test Equipment Engineering to define and improve test hardware and software, ensuring robust and efficient test capability.
• Support production testing, troubleshoot production issues, integrate engineering changes, and support hardware under test and test equipment management in manufacturing environment.
• Evaluate non-conforming material, determine disposition, and perform RCCA activities.
• Lead cycle-time improvements, ergonomic risk reduction, automation initiatives, and cost reduction using CORE and data-driven decision making.
