Job summary

Bluefors Cryocooler Technologies, Inc. seeks a motivated Technical Sales Manager to lead relationships with academic and research customers in the quantum technology field, representing cryogenic technologies used by leading universities and laboratories worldwide.

You will deliver technical demonstrations, develop solutions aligned with customer needs, and collaborate with Sales and Engineering to support proposals, reports, and ongoing technical sales activities, while traveling as required.

Qualifications

• MSc degree in applied or technical physics or strong relevant experience in quantum computing/related field.
• Proven experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or closely related customer-facing technical role, preferably involving scientific instrumentation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for translating complex technical information to diverse audiences.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and develop technical solutions aligned with their research and operational needs.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships by understanding challenges and opportunities.
• Serve as liaison between Sales and Engineering, sharing customer feedback and market insights.
• Assist with preparation of technical proposals, documentation, and reports; monitor industry trends.
